Working directory
Path to the folder where the captured data and log files are stored.
Show icon in tray when window is minimized and capture is started
Mark this item to enable the display of the program's icon in the system tray
when the main window is minimized and the capture is in progress.
The system tray icon displays two animated vertical bars:
. The left-hand bar (green)
indicates the number of incoming
packets per second and the right-hand bar displays the incoming traffic
in kilobytes per second.
Unhide keystroke
Specify here the key combination that will unhide the Give Me Too
main window when the program is in the stealth mode. By default the CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+G
keyboard shortcut is used.
Install Give Me Too service
Press this button, if you want to install Give Me Too as service. A service
application can be started automatically at system boot, by a user through the
Service Control Manager (SCM), or by an application that uses the service functions.
Services can execute even when no user is logged on to the system. Service Control
subsystem and the associated Win32 APIs are not supported in Windows 95/98/ME.
For this reson, this option available only for Windows NT/2000/XP.
Remove Give Me Too service
Press this button to remove Give Me Too service.
Install WAN Monitor device
Press this button, if you want to install WAN
Monitor device. You need to install it, if you want to capture modem
(dial-up) traffic. This feature available only for Win2k, XP, Win2003, and WinLH.
Remove WAN Monitor device
Press this button to remove WAN Monitor.
